Sharpe Named Outstanding Youth Referee

Sharpe, who started refereeing recreational matches when she was 12 years old, now monitors the “Laws of the Game” at the often difficult and exacting adult and competitive club levels. When not on the field with the watch and the whistle, Katey exchanges them for a soccer ball. Sharpe, a junior at Morgantown High School, has played with the Lady Mohigans for three years, and with the WVUSC Fusion (currently U18 Girls) for the past six years.
